Throughout the episode, Cartman and the other campers are made to exercise and eat healthy food like carrots, protein bars, and soy pudding. The campers find those things a torture and have a strong craving for junk food which is forbidden in the camp. Some of them, including Cartman, attempt to escape the camp but are rounded up by a fake ice-cream truck that sends them back to camp.
Cartman helps a kid break out of drug rehab who in turn smuggles candy into the camp which Cartman sells to the campers after lights out. The counselors, Rick and Susan, realize that no child has lost weight and think they are doing something wrong. Upset that his son has not lost weight, a parent accuses them of running a fraudulent camp calls up all the other campers' parents to take their children home. One of the campers feels guilty and reveals that Cartman had been secretly selling candy to them and it is not the counselors' fault. The parents then decide to leave their children at camp but Cartman is banished because of what he did.
