By October 22, 2013, South Park Studios changed their Twitter profile picture to main character Eric Cartman, dressed as Brad Pitt, to reflect the events of the Season Seventeen episode released thirteen days prior, titled World War Zimmerman.[1] Before this point, South Park profile pictures were miscellaneous, but following this point, their social media profile pictures consistently updated to reflect new episodes' themes and characters. These profile pictures sometimes have two versions, set just before and just after a new episode.
