Iraq is a republic in Western Asia that has occasionally played a big role in the events of South Park. The country is mostly known for the character of Saddam Hussein, the former leader of Iraq in real life, who has been a part of several episodes, and the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.

Background

In "Tom's Rhinoplasty", Wendy hired the Iraqi soldiers to have Ms. Ellen shot into the center of the sun. This was all planned when she tells Bebe that she wants to have her loaded into a rocket and to be shot into the center of the sun. Wendy tried to impress Stan by wearing black leather with the help of Bebe, Ms. Ellen is shown to wear a similar outfit as her which angered Wendy. The day after, several Iraqi soldiers burst in the classroom and they mentioned Ms. Ellen was an Iraqi fugitive and they shown Principal Victoria an image of Ms. Ellen with Saddam Hussein, showing that Ms. Ellen slept with Saddam which shocked Principal Victoria and she orders the soldiers to take her to custody, and as Ms. Ellen resists the soldiers, she accidentally threw one of their swords to Kenny, killing him in the process. And a clip is shown in Iraq where the soldiers place Ms. Ellen into a rocket, and she was pleading to get out of the rocket but one of the soldiers shut her pleads and launch the rocket and as she is being launched, Wendy is seen throwing a party and as Kyle tries to talk to Wendy about the outcome, she shushes him as she pays the soldiers as she speaks to them in fluent Arabic and she is then taking out a cardboard box styled as a telescope to see her getting launched into the son with satisfaction, which shocked Kyle in disbelief about Ms. Ellen's arrest and Wendy then declared that she told Ms. Ellen not to fuck with her.

In "Terrance and Phillip in Not Without My Anus", Terrance and Phillip fly to Iran to rescue Terrance's daughter, where they immediately find her and fly back with the then-Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and his henchmen, who somehow get on the planes with their firearms on them. After taking control of the airports, they smuggle in more soldiers and set up posters of Saddam everywhere, slowly taking over Canada, until the majority of them are killed by a Canadian chemical weapons strike. It is notable that while the Iraqi soldiers appear like Canadians in this episode, the ones in "Red Sleigh Down" appear in the normal South Park animation style.

"Red Sleigh Down" takes place mostly in Iraq, and the main antagonists are Iraqi terrorists. They kidnap Santa Claus and Jesus, and the boys embark on a daring mission to rescue them, armed with M4 assault rifles. Jesus manages to kill several of them, but he is eventually shot to the death in Iraq, but Santa and the boys manage to escape.
