Trivia

• The Jennifer Lopez doll and car Stan and Kyle were playing with in the beginning is the same one from the episode "Cartmanland". In this episode there are burn marks already on the car, caused by the firecracker the boys stuck in it.
• The sex positions that Mr. Garrison describes – missionary, doggie style, pile driver, the Filthy Sanchez, Hot Karl, the wrap-around butt grab, reverse cowgirl, Hot Lunch, Donkey Punch, Glass-bottom boat, Fish-eye, and Chili dog – are real, and many involve anal sex and/or feces.
• In Australia, this episode received an MA15+ rating as opposed to the usual M rating, due to its strong sexual content throughout the episode and the graphic violence near the end of the episode.
• Fourth wall break: When Chef is stating that sex should not be taught by people with no understanding of it, people with a bad opinion of it, or complete perverts, the camera pans to Mr. Mackey, Ms. Choksondik, and finally to Mr. Garrison, who asks, "W-why did you pan to me just now?"
• According to the DVD commentary, the Comedy Central censors told Trey and Matt to drastically shorten the part where Mr. Garrison demonstrates how to put on a condom by using his mouth with a condom around the lips and deep-throating the model penis used in the lesson.
  • The full scene only aired once and after that only the censored version had been aired. This version is also the one seen on the DVD, instead of the full version.
• The teachers in the PTA meeting were Chef, Mr. Adler, Ms. Choksondik, Principal Victoria, Mr. Mackey, Mr. Garrison, and Pearl.
• When Butters - in a hockey mask and driving a pedal car - tells the girls to just leave, he is quoting the Lord Humungus word for word. His voice is drastically altered through the microphone, and Stan and Kyle comment that "he's good at this".
• This is the first time where Mrs. Choksondik is shown with her hair down.
• In "Fourth Grade", Mr. Mackey is disgusted by Mrs. Choksondik's breasts, but in this episode when he is about to have sex with her, he shows no signs of disgust.
• The music that plays during Mr. Mackey and Mrs. Choksondik's sex scene was reused in the two South Park RPGs, being the boss theme for the Gnome Warlock in South Park: The Stick of Truth and the Pedophile Priests in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
• Towelie appears on a newspaper that Randy is reading, even though he was not introduced as a character until the next episode.

References to Popular Culture

• The boys attacking the girls' fortress is a parody of Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, including Kenny's death, with the boys as the Marauders and the girls as the Settlers. Even their makeshift combat clothes are echoes of the scene from the movie.

Goofs

• When Cartman says "Red Rocket" as he and Kenny show Stan and Kyle how to "milk" a dog, his mouth moves but he does not speak. This was later corrected in the Comedy Central reruns, but not on the Season Five DVD.
• When the boys ask the girls what they learned in sex-ed, Millie and Sally can be seen with the girls. Looking in the background, however, they can be seen eating.
• In this episode, it is implied that Mr. Mackey had limited experience with sexual intercourse: first when he is teaching sex-ed to the students; again talking to Ms. Choksondik, planning their sex-ed curricula; finally, on the closing of the episode, Chef says that Mr. Mackey does not know anything about sex. However, in the episode "Ike's Wee Wee", it is implied that he has sexual intercourse, and subsequently marries a rather attractive woman. Though since he was high at the time, it is possible he just did not remember having intercourse. Also, in the episode "Cat Orgy", it is implied that he is going to have sexual intercourse with Mrs. Cartman, though it is possible that they did not follow through with this. In "Something You Can Do with Your Finger", a video clip of Mrs. Cartman and Mr. Mackey involving in bondage is shown. However, they were not engaging in intercourse.
• When Nate is being shot with a nail gun he has brown hair, but in another shot, his hair is the proper orange.
• When Mr. Garrison is talking about condoms with the kindergartners, Ike does not have a mouth.
• While Butters is putting his condom on, he reads the instructions, but Kyle's voice sounds like Butters' when he asks him a question directly after.
• Right after Kenny's death, he can be seen standing next to Kyle when the latter was yelling at Bebe.
• Mr. Mackey's shirt disappears as he takes it off.

Kenny's Death

• Kenny is killed by Bebe after Butters' speech from a boomerang. His death sparks off the beginning of the conflict.
