Since the debut of South Park in 1997, the show has been dubbed into several languages. We invite all editors with access to the dubbings and proficiency of the respective languages to contribute to the following tasks:

Steps

International Versions of South Park

Provide a detailed background on the dubbings (e.g. History, production, cast etc.), significant changes to the show's settings and/or characters' backgrounds (if any). Changes for specific episodes should be listed in the respective episodes' trivia pages (see below).

Dubbing Changes

Dubbings may contain additional trivia, references, or other significant changes from the original recording. Contents that may be added into episode trivia pages include:

  • Significant changes to the episode plotlines, dialogs and/or title,
  • Scenes that are partially or fully censored,
  • Cultural references that are not found in the English version,
  • Name changes for one-off/minor/mentioned characters,
  • Goofs and continuity errors that are introduced into the dubbings,
  • Goofs in the English version that have been corrected in the dubbings.

On episode trivia pages, insert a new section titled "Dubbing Changes" at the bottom of the page (before "References", if any). Make sub-sections for each language, sorted by alphabetical order. If there are similar changes to more than one dubbing, include a "Common" sub-section at the top. You may use Proper Condom Use/Trivia as a reference.
