Season Thirteen was announced on August 27, 2007[1], and began on March 11, 2009. It contained fourteen episodes, like its predecessor and aired in two halves with seven episodes at spring of 2009 and the other seven towards the end of the year at fall. The second half began on October 7, 2009. In Canada, the season premiered on March 13.
Kenny dies three times this season, the most since Season Five.
