Plot details follow.

The forest is covered in tall conifers and spruce, with some large boulders scattered across. There is a network of several paths that seem to go around in circles, making it possible to get lost. There is no guarantee that retracing steps would result in going back to where the player came from. Only a few man-made structures can be found within the forest (such as a wooden bridge).

The Lost Forest is accessible at the outskirts of South Park:

Each entrance is obstructed by a group of rats which must be cleared with the Dragonshout fart power. Once in the forest, there will be four paths (North, South, East or West) for The New Kid to choose.

It is possible to encounter Nazi Zombies while in the forest.

Specific Destinations

Canada

As directed by Kyle Broflovski, the path towards Canada is to "Head North, then North again, North, and then North". The New Kid can only make his way past the Canadian border if the Heading North quest is started and the passport is obtained.

Cow's Farm

Heading South 4 times will lead to the Cow's Farm, before going down South again to re-enter South Park.

Woodland Critters

The map to the Woodland Critters can be found in Stan's room. Once in the forest, head East, North, East, South, East. Once the Critters are found, they will ask the New Kid if he accepts Satan as their savior. Upon acceptance, all 12 Critters will become Facebook friends.
