After seeing what happened on wikisimpsons I flipped and made a blog about how I would leave if they didn't stop doing what they were doing. I regret that. Even though I'm annoyed with the staff, I still want to stay and help the wiki. So I changed the blog. It's useless now, so, can you delete it? • I have no problem with Toadstool becoming an admin. His recent contributions may have been sporatic, but I don't think its much of a problem. I myself was gone all summer, leaving you the only active admin. More active administrators wouldn't hurt.

I think we should also consider ofering adminship to AdeoF. He has quite a few edits and has been overall helpful. Neocarleen • Talk

Videos

I want to discuss the video pages. Up until recently, the embedded videos worked for everyone in every country. Now, not only are they blocked from everyone who is not in the US, they are glitchy and rarely work for them. I think we should just remove them altogether. Very few episode pages actually have them, and they just seem like excess work that doesn't pay off. Maybe we should put a link to the episode on South Park Studios, and leave it at that. Image Needed Picture

Okay so for the SECOND time someone decided "Hmm... the IMAGE NEEDED TEMPLATE has a border that's way too thick" seemingly not figuring out that the ridiculous thickness of the border was PART OF THE FUCKING JOKE.

I don't know if it was you or if it was somebody else who jacked it up again because I can't find the History button on this new crappy Wiki design, but I don't feel like changing it back without consulting you first. Because certainly you get the joke to SOME extent, right?

New layout

Hi, wasn't sure where to post this so I figured this was as good a place as any. I'm finding the new layout a little weird, mainly because articles only seem to take up about two thirds of the screen space. Even when there's nothing on the right hand side of the screen the articles are pused to the left for some reason. Is there a reason for this, or can it be fixed or something? Well, I have noticed that you have mentioned the Moli,wikia incident, All I can say about it is that it happened long time ago and had nothing to do with the current wiki site. As long as I'm sure, it happened on this site. I can reveal it to you that it was actually my old account that I wanted to get rid of but couldn't find the way to delete it. Talking about the activity, I'm just busy all the time and cannot pay my attention on wiki, but i am trying to have time for this as well.. I'm now officially out of hibernation! Just thought I'd tell you that. The second half of season 14 was quite satisfying, and I'm ready to get back to work here. ;)

Let's see... what can I do first... oh yes! The timer is a little, funny. It says over 150 days until the next episode, but it also says "ONLY 150 days until the next episode". At first, I assumed the "only" part was intended to be ironic or funny or something, but I was wondering if it would be more cool and exciting if it said "It will be a long" instead. Then after 100 days, it said "Still a full..." or something like that, and then "Only..." then "Almost there! Just..." • The "ONLY 150 days until the next episode" text was leftover from each weekly countdown. After the last episode I changed the date to April 27, 2011 (when Season 15 will start) without changing the text part. Davoo changed it to "It's going to be a long T minus 150 days, etc... until the next episode." which is sufficient.

By the way, did something funky happen with the Leaderboard? It just appears blank for me.

In fact, I've been thinking of something, what about an alternate, spoiler-free version of the episodes page? Like, the descriptions don't reveal any of the end, middle, and very little of the beginning plot? And the pictures on didn't reveal anything. It would be intended for people to decide which episode they want to watch, providing a short list of the basic things that each episode has (the characters it features, the basic theme, whether or not it focuses on politics, ext). Slider

The Avatar wiki also has a slider. I think it would look great on our front page, so for sure request it. Did you want me to pick one of the images you made? Most of them look fantastic.

• Are you sure it can only be edited once, or does it just take a day or so to update? It looked fine last night, just the thumbnails weren't there, and now the thumbs are there but the headings are gone.
• I don't know... I guess it's still trying to catch up with the edits? It's formatted fine in the article page, but the front page is still messed up. Oh well, let's just wait another day and hope it magically fixes itself. In the meantime, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind making a slider image and thumb from one of the Bigger, Longer & Uncut images?
• Nevermind. I just made the movie image and thumb. The slider is slowly fixing itself, but it's taking forever! A rate of one edit a day, it seems, but it is catching up.
• In fact, forget the whole thing. I just tried something a little different, and I think it looks a LOT better than the normal slider.

Do we really need to have the latest episode template for the home page? It is already in the slider, so having one below would be pretty pointless.

Latest episode

When episodes start airing again, we'll need new pics for the slider.

• How do you add images to it?
• How do you get the thumbnail?
• What do the dimensions need to be...of the picture?

South Park Answers

The color change to green was nice. But it did present one issue; the South Park Answers banner doesn't stand out as much, because it was green too. So I've given it another color. Season 14 on DVD!

Have you been frequenting Amazon? Have you read the latest South Park FAQ? The fourteenth season DVD cover has been revealed, AND it has been confirmed that it WILL include all fourteen episodes. He didn't say whether or not they would be censored, but if they were, I think he would mention that. So I can assume they will be completely bleepless. Maybe.

Recent changes link and signing in

I don't know if you know anything about this or if the issues are linked, but recently my computers have not been remembering my login and the link at the top left where it says recent changes and the users etc on each page has dissappeared, as if I am not signed in (I definitely am).

I know I can click tools, history; but its a pain and means you can't quickly see recent changes for each specific page.

One question

For future reference, if I find a bad page (like the Fdfds etc. ones) would it be best to wipe the page clear when I find it just to show that watever page is not acceptable (with a reason in the summary box) before notifying an admin about its recommended deletion? New Interface - Talk Pages

I know that this wiki doesn't use the new editing interface but this was what I thought to be the most risk free way of asking about an issue about the interface without using it.

With the new interface on other wikis, when I try and leave a new message by literally pressing "Leave message" on a talk page, the "Show Changes" button tells me that I have removed all other discussions and I have not left a subject title (even using source mode to make a title, above it will still appear something like "New subject here").

So overall my question is how do I leave a message with the interface without it removing everything on the talk page (I can only assume that's what would happen since I have never clicked publish for fear of it deleting everything) and how do I create a title before publishing the message?

Kind of random question...

Purely out of interest, what is the difference between a block and a ban please? Is it that a block is temporal and a ban is pernament? I was just curious because I remember on some other wiki that a fairly well renouned user (one I even thought was an admin) was blocked (or whichever) and I was wondering if one were less serious... on this particular one I also seem to remember that one user was blocked (or whichever) for a while or somithing just to "calm down". Celebrities Form 200/201

The celebrities that were seen to die in previous episodes that appeared in 200/201 are neither dead or possibly deceased in the world of South Park because they have been seen to be alive and well. Therefore, it is in my opinion that neither categories apply to any celebrities that appeared in these episodes.

I'm not sure about ones that are dead in real life (all the ones that appeared in dead celebrities, e.g. Michael Jackson, Billy Mays etc.) because they are shown to be alive and well in South Park after being declared dead, then again they ARE dead.

The issue is that it is hard to tell because we have had no explanation as to how they have come to earth - it could be like South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut where they have emerged from Hell or something.

However, with no explanation we cannot say either way, maybe there should be a new category for the undefined fate of a character, like "Characters with unsure continuity status" or something.

^ Direct from my blog post to save time typing the same thing in a different way, I hereby confess (though this time spell checked). However, this does not mean that I am not sincere - I think that most of the celebrities from these episodes require a new category about their uncertain life status.

Yes I noticed this Achievements issue had been resolved earlier today. Perhaps it was a minor bug in the new system.

I think the best category name I could come up with is "Celebrities with uncertain continuity status".
