Each character requires an infobox to be placed at the top of the article, formatted as below.

|age = To be added in the format of {{Age|Year|Month|Day}} for real-life celebrities. For all other characters, a single finite number must be given, and backed up with a source.

|died = Episode in which the character is killed. For real-life celebrities, their date of death may be added in the next line using <br>.

|voice = Voice actor for the character

|appearance = First episode where the character appears in
|speaking = First episode where the character speaks in (if it is not their first physical appearance)

Background

A summary of events involving the character.

Appearance

A brief description about their physical appearance such as clothing, hair, stature, along with any other changes to the appearance compared to past episodes.

If the character had appeared in several costumes, these descriptions should be placed in their respective Alter Egos subpages.

Personality

A summary of the character's personality and behavior.

Criminal Record

A record of criminal actions carried out by the character, if any. These actions must be deemed illegal in the area of jurisdiction where they occurred, in order to qualify for the list.

Family

A summary of significant relationships with the character's family members, where applicable. Each character will be given their own header. A separate Interactions subpage may be granted to major characters on case-by-case basis.

Interactions

A summary of significant relationships with other characters, where applicable. Each character will be given their own header. A separate Interactions subpage may be granted to major characters on case-by-case basis.

Video Games

Appearances in all video games.

Prominence

Appearances in all episodes and movies, with a description of the scene in which they appear in, or a summary of what the character did in the episode.

Trivia

Trivia points that can be drawn regarding the character, in bullet points.

  • Keep contents compact and easy to understand.
  • Provide references if they cannot be drawn from any media within South Park.
  • Speculations, assumptions, and plain comparisons to other characters outside of South Park are not permitted.
