Trivia

  • The opening has returned to the original version used since Season Seventeen, though after the commercial break, it is called "Tegridy Farms Christmas Special".
  • When Randy and Towelie discuss repackaging the surplus marijuana, the "Mexican Joker" collection has the biggest surplus, as Randy mentions that "people really didn't like Mexican Joker". It may be a reference to the episode not being well-received among some fans and critics.
  • In reality, there are no alcohol bans in Colorado like the one depicted in the episode. Alcohol sales are forbidden from 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day.
  • One of the promo images depicts Santa standing with The Boys in front of his sleigh, implying they would have a large role in the episode. In the actual episode, The Boys only appear in a few short scenes and do not directly interact with Santa while the adults are the main focus of the episode. Additionally, Stan does not have any lines at all.
  • Despite being focused on Randy and Tegridy Farms, the end credits do not feature Randy's "Tegridy Farms" scat.
  • This is the final episode to air before the show entered a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Below are a list of video clips that make up the live-action segment of the Marijuana-free Christmas Snow commercial:
    • A Christmas dinner for four, seen from outside the window. [1]
    • A woman presenting a gift to a man while covering his eyes. [2]
    • A young couple exchanging Christmas presents. [3]
    • Four women throwing confetti. [4]
    • A close-up view of a woman snorting cocaine. [5]
    • A close-up view of cutting cocaine [6]
    • A woman presenting a gift to a man, followed with a kiss. [7]
