Hello everyone,

As some of you might have seen yesterday, I finally beat the "365 consecutive days of activity" challenge. As others who have been around for a while might know, it was not my first attempt. With the exception of the days where I broke my previous attempts, which were cut short due to family and medical reasons, respectively, and with the exception of the week or so break I took after the first attempt ended, I have been active almost every day on this wiki for over 700 days. In fact, my first edit of my first "365" attempt actually took place on March 31, 2012, which, according to the wiki's clock, was exactly 2 years ago, today.

So what does this mean? First of all, I want to make it clear that I am NOT leaving this wiki. I am not declaring a permanent leave of absence, nor am I retiring all together. But, as you too would probably think after 700+ days of making wiki editing part of my daily routine, mixed together with the sense of finally overcoming some past failures, I think it's time for me to take a break, lest I completely burn myself out, and reallocate some time to my writings and to my studies.

As I said already, this is not a permanent break. I will still be popping in and out of the wiki quite often, largely due to habit, but I will no longer be making edits every single day. You can expect me back, full-time, likely in the summer time and certainly well before Season Eighteen begins, during which I will accept my usual seasonal duties (and possibly more).

Until then, I want to thank everyone on this wiki, particularly GP (Manic The Hedgehog to most everyone else) for helping me keep going for the past 2 years in more ways than I can explain (like making me an Admin in the first place) and Nightquest for being the only other person on this wiki who made it the full 365 days and thus served as a major motivating factor. And, of course, I would like to thank the current Admin team, which I have had the honor of serving with and hope to resume serving with upon my return.

Thank you all for everything, and I will be back when the time is right.

Regards,

Phpguy
