Hello everybody, HighJewElfKing here with some important changes we are making across the community. Our community keeps growing, as it does it's important for us to look at what is working and what isn't. So starting today, we have made changes to our teams and how they operate. Let's break it down below.

The Wiki Team

The Wiki Team is here to support the wiki. It's your same group of friendly Bureaucrats and Admins you already know and love. Have a question about editing, spotted vandalism, need to edit a locked page? This is the group you should get in touch with. To make this easier, we added Discord Tag's for all our staff members on our new staff page. Rollback and Content Mod members are also part of The Wiki Team.

The Discord Team

It is no secret our Discord keeps growing fast. We average over 75,000 messages a month and over 700 new users a month. To help support this growth, we have our awesome Discord Moderators, but we're going further. We are adding two new users as Discord Admins, Airborn, and AppleBaby. Discord Admins will lead and support the mod team and make changes to the server like new channels, roles etc. If you need help on Discord please contact a Mod first who will then contact a Discord Admin if need be. Wiki Admins will be less involved with Discord-related issues, so please don't contact them over Discord issues. The Discord team does have applications open for new Discord Mods, you can fill that out here if you believe you are a good fit.

The Discussions Team

For the over 1,000 users a day to read our Discussions, we have created the Discussions Team. The Discussions Team, Led by HerbiMetal, is there to enforce our Discussions rules, answer your questions and keep Discussions a great place.

Who Do I Contact Now?

With this change, not all wiki admins will be watching the wiki's social platforms (Discord & Discussions). You should aim to contact somebody in the concerned team first and foremost. For example, if there is vandalism on the wiki, you should ping a member of the Wiki Team. If there is spam on Discord or you are getting unwanted DMs from a user you should ping a member of the Discord Team (If there is active spam occurring and a Discord Team member can't be reached, please ping the Wiki Team). For Discussions issues, you should ALWAYS contact the Discussions Team. If there is a situation that warrants a response from multiple teams, please still contact the concerned team. We have multiple methods and systems of contacting each other, so we are able to stay in the loop with each other, like Slack and private Discord channels.

We hope this makes it easier to know which member of staff to contact in situations. If you happen to ping or message the wrong member of staff it's okay! It will be forwarded to the right team. We'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have about our new teams. I want to give a shoutout to Airborn, AppleBaby, and Herbi on their promotions to new roles, joining me in congratulating them!
