Welcome to the September edition of the State of the Wiki. In this post, I will cover major events on the wiki from the month of August. I also will share what's to come here on South Park Archives for the rest of the month.

General News

• NOTABLE: We're a few weeks away from the start of a new season! Preparation is being done as we gear up for the big week! Season 22 premieres WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26!

• IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EDITORS: With the new season starting, I want to remind everybody that you must have evidence if you make a major edit. We usually rollback lots of edits on the following Thursday after the season premiere due to false information being added to articles and vandalism being added to articles. If you disagree with your edit being removed, please contact the Admin who undid your edit.

• NOTABLE: We have a new user page design once again. While it's not new to South Park Archives, it's returning to the wiki, let us know what you think!

• NOTABLE: Our Discord will be holding live episode chats in our #episodelivechat channel starting Wednesday, September 26th! You can find policies on the live chat channel in the #livechatrules channel and also on the Discord. Users don't have to verify or have edits to access the live chats.

• NOTABLE: Even during the new season, we will still be enforcing our Article Comments Policy, remember it DOES NOT apply to the before and after episode blog posts.

• We are planning to add Featured Videos to the following pages: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Wendy Testaburger , Butters Stotch , Randy Marsh , Gerald Broflovski , Sheila Broflovski , Tweek Tweak , Craig Tucker , You Have 0 Friends , Trapped in the Closet , Doubling Down and Kenny Dies bringing the total number of Featured Videos on the wiki from 2 to 15. The success of Featured Videos on SPA was mentioned by FANDOM staff in This blog post!

• Last November, we conducted a survey for South Park Archives and the Discord. The survey proved highly successful to us and allowed us to get lots of helpful data. Our plan this year is to conduct one of them in November. I'll be sharing more information about our newest one when we get closer to that date so stay tuned.
