Welcome to the October edition of the State of the Wiki. In this post, I will cover major events on the wiki from the month of September. I also will share what's to come here on South Park Archives for the rest of the month.

South Park Archives 2018 Survey

If some of you can recall, last year we conducted two surveys to help us improve the wiki and Discord. This year, we're doing that again!

• First and foremost, you can take the survey by click on This oversized link
• Everybody will remain anonymous, we are NOT collecting ANY personal information with this survey or the Discord server survey.
• We're using the data you provide on the survey to help us improve the wiki and make sure we meeting your needs as editors and readers.
• Last year, after the survey closed. I responded to EVERY single piece of feedback released in This blog post.
• We still talk about the feedback from that survey today when making decisions and implementing new changes on the wiki.
• Your feedback on the type of pages you look at on the wiki is particularly important to us because it helps us narrow our focus during and after the season to the pages you guys like to look at the most.
• Last but not least, the survey will remain open until November 20th, at around 10:40 AM, it is a mix of text fields and multiple choice.
• There are 10 questions and 2 bonus South Park related questions. SurveyMonkey estimates it takes about 4 minutes to complete.

General News

• NOTABLE: Following two community votes, the following users have been demoted from Bureaucrat to Administrator: Annonnimus, Gastropod, Nightquest, LectrPazillo, Phpguy, Neocarleen, Manic The Hedgehog

• Season Twenty-Two has been airing for about 4 weeks now and we couldn't be happier to see more editors contributing and a major spike in people on our Discord server. So far a large majority of pages and information are put up BEFORE the next week's episode airing and we are on track with keeping the wiki current during the season.

• NOTABLE: Discussions now supports polls and we have been using them the past few weeks for before and after episode posts. Check them out!

• Episode live chats are every Wednesday during the season in our Discord. Have you joined? No? Why not? Join the fun today!

• NOTABLE: We are reevaluating our Article Comments Policy following new editors and users leaving comments during the season. We'll share what the future of this policy is after the season.
