Update
Hello everybody, HighJewElfKing here with a important update regarding my status with Fandom and my activity here on South Park Archives.
As some of you may know, last year I joined Fandom’s Wiki Manager team, a group that helped and supported Movie TV wikis by doing various tasks and focusing on special projects. Sadly, Fandom has laid me off as of Friday June 26th alongside others from Fandom’s Wiki Manager, Content Team Member and Growth groups. It was an honor to be a part of that team and I’ll miss it very much, alongside my fantastic coworkers as well. My job position though met I was around Fandom a lot more, but I had to prioritize work duties, South Park Archives wasn’t part of those duties usually. Which meant I had to step back my editing here from the levels I was editing at back in 2016 and 2017, alongside other factors.
However given the events now, I will continue to do what my goal has always been here as an admin on SPA, to make this the best South Park Wiki on the web. We’re already hard at work on merging the South Park gaming Wiki into South Park Archives and soon we will hope to start to have conversations with South Park Studios on what things would look like if we joined forces.
Let me be clear, I will still be a Bureaucrat and Admin on South Park Archives, I’ll still be on and a mod on our amazing Discord, and I’ll still be around the Fandom community and an active Community Council member. I am not going anywhere.
I want to say thank you to Fandom for the opportunity they’ve given me and I hope to be able to serve them again in the future as a Wiki Manager or in another role. I’d be more than glad to since I love Fandom with all my heart. Fandom and wiki editing is a passion, a pure burning desire and passion that I will always love.
I also want to thank all of you the South Park Archives Community for allowing me to serve you as your Lead Bureaucrat. Coming up on 4 years as an admin, it’s truly an honor. I also want to thank our entire team of admins who have had my back today and always, and who do such fantastic work here on South Park Archives.
I won’t stop fighting for the South Park Community on Fandom, and I’ll keep doing everything I can to make sure we fulfill our vision of becoming the best place for South Park Information anywhere. Thank you all for your support during this tough time for me.
