South Park was featured as part of the 58th Primetime Emmy Awards opening sequence.
Background
Conan O'Brien ends up in Stan's room and locks himself in Stan's closet. As Randy Marsh tries to get Conan out of the closet, the latter then frees himself, saying there is someone else in the closet, who turned out to be Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise locks the door and remains inside, with Randy trying to open the door afterwards.

| Conan runs into Stan's closet and locks himself in | |
| Hey, hey! That's my closet! | |
| Leave me alone! | |
| [walks out of his room into the corridor] Dad! Conan O'Brien won't come out of the closet! | |
| What? [he knocks on the closet door] Mr. O'Brien, you need to come out of the closet. | |
| [opens the door and runs out] Ah! There's someone else in there! [leaves the room] | |
| Upon Conan leaving the room, Tom Cruise appears out of the closet for a second, before going back into the closet and locking himself in as well. | |

Trivia
- The short is based off "Trapped in the Closet".
- Two other shows Conan visits in the opening sequence are 24 and To Catch a Predator, both of which were parodied on South Park in "The Snuke" and "Le Petit Tourette" of Season Eleven respectively.
