Trivia
- In the Mandarin Chinese dub of "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride", the name Sylvester Stallone is adopted for Sylvester, a street dog which Sparky tries to make love with.
- What appears to be an early design of Sylvester is seen in a few background shots of the episode "Wing" with it lacking the facial detail in the final design which might explain why it wasn't used
- Stallone's mumbling and having to rely on his translators to talk to the Boys in "Wing" is a likely nod to his appearance in the 1995 short film, Your Studio and You which was directed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. In the film, despite speaking English, his entire dialogue is subtitled for comedic effect, as he is portraying himself as Rocky Balboa and uses the character's particular accent and speaking mannerisms.[3] At the end of the film, Stallone switches back to his natural voice and reminds the directors that Rocky was just a fictional character.[4]
