South Park: Born in Chaos is a collaboration between South Park and Fortnite, which released with the v39.20 update of the game on January 9, 2026. The collaboration is currently running from January 9, 2026, till February 5, 2026.[1]
Unlockable Items
All items listed below that are available via the item shop, excluding the Towelie companion, are purchaseable as a part of the "Gonna Have Myself A Time Bundle" for 4,000 V-Bucks. Other items have to be unlocked through the event's Pass.

Pass
The event features a free-to-play pass that unlocks 13 rewards, most of them South Park themed. In order to unlock them, players are tasked to complete special objectives that reward Cred or Memberberries.

Cartmanland Location
- This list is incomplete, you can help by adding to it!
For the duration of the event, Cartmanland, Cartman's amusement park from the eponymous episode, replaced the named location "Wonkeeland". The location was updated to contain a variety of references to the South Park franchise.
- The sign at the entrance now reads "Cartmanland" respectively. The entrance itself is an oversized head of Cartman; players may walk into his mouth to enter the park.
- The South Park Theme's breakbeat version from the second half of Season Four and Season Five is played through loudspeakers upon approaching the entry, correlating to the episode "Cartmanland" being part of the show's fifth season.
- The ferris wheel was recolored to match Cartman's color scheme and has his face at the center.
- The surrounding river's water was replaced with pee, referencing the Season Thirteen episode "Pee" as well as the special South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2.
- The names of some attractions were also modified to reference Pi-Pi's name. Notably, one was renamed to "Pi Pi's Splashtown", directly referencing Pi-Pi's water park.
- In the tunnel behind the attraction "Voyage To The Center Of The Planet", cardboard standees of ManBearPig, PigBearGirl and their child Chuck Chuck can be found, who were seen as a family in South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2.
- The castle was re-themed after Princess Kenny.
- The shooting range was renamed to "Chaosblast", refering to Professor Chaos. Right next to it stands an oversized figure of him.
- Cardboard standees of Terrance and Phillip are scattered across the rails.
- Various posters with references were spread across the theme park:
- A wanted poster showing the cat Scrambles from South Park: The Fractured But Whole
- A recruitment poster for the Chaos Kids
- A poster with a UFO captioned "We are not alone", referencing the Visitors
- Posters advertising the sports drink Cred
Other Changes
- The default Battle Bus was replaced by the iconic school bus from the show, with it being kept in the air by the airship from the Imaginationland trilogy.
- The South Park theme plays while the player is sitting inside.
- Cheesy Poofs were added as a consumable, and are also able to be thrown at enemy players to deal small amounts of damage.
- Supply drops caused by rift anomalies drop a Kenny Respawn Token, which revives the player once after having been eliminated.
- The Stick of Truth was added as a new rift anomaly, with which players who pick it up can cause the storm to fully close at a specific location.
